My take on this Bible:

The Bible is the key to discovering what God has to say us. With the Discover God's Heart devotional Bible allows users to discover God's love for us as we journey through his word. There are 312 devotions, one for each day of the week and one for the weekend,which will help guide you through the reading of the Bible.There is a reading schedule provided at the beginning of the Bible, with little boxes that you can check off as you read the devotion for the day. Each devotion is placed near the scripture that it pertains to, making it very easy to use. The devotions include God's story which is a summary section of the scripture, the King's heart which goes to the heart of the what the scripture means along with an insight section that ties everything together. I also liked that at the bottom of the devotion you find the next page number for the next devotion. Some additional features of this Bible is introductions to each book of the Bible, footnotes,along with a few reading plans, including a 90 day plan that will provide an overview of the Bible.There are also a few thirty day reading plans including one for new believers, themes in Psalms, along with thirty stories of love and friendship. Overall an NIV Bible that pairs devotions together with scripture that will grow the user's understanding of God's word.
