My take on this Bible:
The NKJV Study Bible is hands down the best study Bible I have used to date! Full color and so many useful features such as word studies and indexes, in-text maps and charts, and easy to use cross reference, to name a few make this updated version an outstanding choice for a study Bible. The in depth notes are what really sold me on this one though, the bottom of each page is dedicated to study notes which sometimes encompass at least half a page, and while the study notes are man's opinion they certainly lend insight and help the user comprehend what they are reading in the Bible.  I used the book of Job to review and I was blown away at the study notes that I found, one particular topic was in chapter 41 and deals with Leviathan the fire breathing dragon who was a symbol of chaos. I found no real mention of this in a few of my study Bibles, but with the NKJV the notes were in depth providing insight allowing me to find answers to my questions about this topic. The concordance provided with this Bible substantial. Overall, this colorful study Bible will prove useful for anyone who wants to dig deeper into the word of God. I always check to see if there is a presentation page and there is one provided, and the text is a nice size to read. I would classify this Bible as a bit of a chunkster, which might not be great if you plan on carrying this one to church. That's really the only negative thing I can say about this one.

A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
