With this NIV Once-A-Day Bible for Women, you can read through the Bible in a year. . . or at your own pace. Now you can practice the spiritual discipline of daily Bible reading at your own pace. Want a reading plan that will take you through the Bible in a year? You got it—and check boxes too. Don’t want the guilt of falling behind in your daily reading? You won’t—each daily reading is numbered, not dated, allowing the flexibility you need as you strive to engage God’s Word every day. Looking for a Bible with insights about what you as a woman most need to hear? These are included as well in the intuitive, hopeful devotional thoughts located at the end of each daily reading. The NIV Once-A-Day Bible for Women organizes the clear, accessible New International Version Bible into 365 daily readings. Each day’s reading includes a portion of Scripture from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and a Psalm or a Proverb, followed by an encouraging devotional thought specifically written for women.

My take on this Bible:
I am always looking for a way to incorporate Bible reading into my day with the hopes of reading the entire Bible each year  and the Once A Day Bible really is a do able plan that is easy to use. The days are just numbered instead of geared toward specific days which means I was able to start the plan now even though we are in the month of Sept, I just started with the first days reading and hopefully in a year I will have made it thru the Bible, and speaking of which, I love that there is a place for me to mark off each day that I complete my reading! Each reading consists of passages from the Old and New Testament along with scripture from Psalms or Proverbs. Each daily reading is also paired with a devotional that often reflects on the passages read that day, and while geared toward women would and often does pertain to anyone. There is a section called Getting to Know God which provides insight for anyone looking to begin or build a relationship with God. I love the feel of this Bible the pages seem sturdy, and the paperback cover is great for everyday use. Oh and the color pink along with the pretty flowers on the cover is very attractive. I wouldn't hesitate to give this Bible as a gift and plan on using it daily.

A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
