ABOUT ALWAYS THE BAKER, FINALLY THE BRIDE

April 1, 2013 Emma Rae Creations

In the first book, readers fell in love with Emma Rae and Jackson, and they’ve gotten more acquainted with them in the two books that followed. But now it’s time for the diamond to meet the road as Jackson fields an offer to sell The Tanglewood, a move that will uproot this high-flying family act once and for all. Get reacquainted with all of the lovable and quirky characters from the first three books as your favorite diabetic baker figures out if she’ll achieve her greatest goal of all: Will Emma, at last become FINALLY the Bride?

My take on this book:
"Always the Baker Finally the Bride" is the fourth and perhaps final book in the Emma Rae Creations series. This book opens with a proposal from Jackson, and of course Emma says yes. Thing is it's not so easy to get ready for a wedding while being the baker for the Tear Room at Tanglewood Inn which is owned and run by her soon to be husband Jackson. When Jackson gets an offer from someone wanting to purchase the Inn it's an idea worth thinking about. Will Jackson sell Tanglewood, and will Emma finally become a bride?

I have enjoyed reading this series and hate to see it end. Each new book is like meeting up with old friends, and this installment is no different. I find it interesting Emma Rae is a top notch baker, but she has diabetes.Along with wedding plans, and the many funny things that happen, I couldn't help but wonder whether Jackson would sell Tanglewood. I thought it was great that there were wedding tips, along with recipes peppered thru at the ending of several of the chapters. I personally can't wait to try the recipe for Emma Rae's Lemon Squares. Overall, I would highly recommend reading this series in order to maximize your understanding of the characters, and to enhance your reading enjoyment of a fantastic series. While there are christian themes woven into the story, they aren't overdone instead they work well into the storyline. Fans of  contemporary romance, humor, and quirky characters will enjoy this entire series.
